Potential bugs with Cast on Ignite + Flame Wall
I've been testing with Flame Wall and Cast on Ignite and there are two potential bugs I'm seeing here:
- I'm gaining energy from Flame Wall every time an enemy unit steps onto a "piece" of fire on the wall. If they step off, then back on again, I'll gain energy again. If they walk through multiple pieces of fire, I'll get multiple instances of energy. This makes it too strong for pack clear, and ignores the wording "once per skill use" on the meta gem. - This behaviour is also being observed with Incinerate, e.g.: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A6oBea-0uQ4 - However, if I shoot a projectile (e.g. Spark which I've been using) through the Flame Wall, I never gain energy, even though it's igniting every time. (I can clearly see they're ignited because the debuff icon appears, they're burning and losing HP over time.) - Not sure if there's something else going on here but Spark + Flame Wall seems to have 100% ignite chance for some reason. The same behaviour is observed with Orb of Storms too!
If an enemy stays still inside the orb then only one instance of energy is gained. If you walk it out and in repeatedly, one instance of energy is gained each time they re-enter. This repeats for every enemy walking inside if there are multiple. |

Noticed the same thing as well, kind of breaks my idea of a cast on ignite build based on spark and flame wall :(
