Problem with Pierce the Heart talent

I was at the last boss of act 2 and before facing him I leveled up and picked the pierce the heart talent.In the fight with hit all my bow attacks exept freezing salvo and rain of arrows where passing through him withought doing any damage for example stormcaller arrow.Went back to town refund the talent then my attacks could hit again.Kinda of an anoying bug.
