Temple of Chaos is overtuned

Gear makes or breaks your character.

My first toon was a witchhunter. I couldn't do the ToC on curve despite some 5 attempts. Then some more at lvl 45, 50 and I gave up. When I finally got to maps, I revisited, got fairly tame set of afflictions, knew what I was doing and it was a walk in the park.

So, if this is your first character, I feel ya. It can be rough. Just keep retrying every act or so.

I have since also gotten a gemling to maps, and a sorc and pathfinder to act 3. The amount of gear they amassed means that the deadeye I'm now levelling is basically demolishing everything while underleveled. 50-70 life on all gear, +2 skill level quiver etc. I got my Sekhemas ascendancy at lvl 20, and Chaos at lvl 36. That's both 2 levels below the nominal zone level.

I'm not boasting - this is nothing remarkable for a fifth playthrough. I'm highlighting that gear plays a massive role in your character's power.
