PoE 2 Ascent to power quest cannot complete

same bug... i dont know what to do now i wont create new character they should give it to my character

need lvl 22, was only able to buy lvl 24. didnt work.....

same issue. act 2 cruel diffuculty.

I picked up a white one instead of the green quest item. I ended up deleting the white coin and redoing the boss and it fixed the bug

Bump, same issue in ACT "5".
I finished the "Ascent to power" quest in ACT 2, but in ACT "5" there's no way to enter Trial Of Sekhemas with the prompt to start the trial for the quest!
I can enter Sekhemas location casually, as location discovered from ACT 2, but that's it, no prompt for ACT "5" quest. Maddening!
(all other quests are finished on 2nd difficulty, aside from that one quest, Sekhemas quest)

I also finished "The test of will barya" (area level 63), the item you put into Relic Altar. The item's description says "completing this ascension trial will grant additional ascendancy skill points".

Guess what - I finished the trial, but the 2 ascendancy skill points NOT SHOWING UP. And after I finished the trial, the item "The test of will barya" was still inside Relic Altar as if unused, and I could take it out and put it back into my inventory.

FIX THIS ASAP.

You need to run 3 floors for the 3rd ascension (look at the table in Ascendancy class). In the ascendancy altar/chests room you have to use the exit on the right side of the room to get to the next floor. Only on the last floor you get the ascendancy points.

I understand that all stages of trial have to be finished in order to achieve completion and to get the ascendancy skill points.
The problem is that in-game description is ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE leaving the average gamer in the dark about how the hell, where the hell what has to be done.

Now I inserted the item "The test of will barya" (area level 63) into Relic Altar WITHOUT adding any relics to help with honor resist and increased honor amount, and now the trial had different enemies, different traps, different final boss.

So I'm assuming that not inserting the relics into Relic Altar is what enabled the actual ascendancy trial to start.

But if no relics are allowed to be inserted into Relic Altar to enable the start of actual ascendancy trial for ascendancy skill points - than IT SHOULD BE INTO QUEST DESCRIPTION.

(and ofcourse I lost the frigin ascendacy trial since it's way too easy to lose at bosses without the help from relics that boost the honor)
