Utzaal checkpoint bug

Second time this has happened where I come to a checkpoint to enter one of the houses and get a gold idol. After exiting and subsequently dying, instead of respawning at the last checkpoint, I'm placed at a different house very far away. In the instance of this screenshot, it's a checkpoint I had not previously discovered.

I ran into the same bug, very annoying because of how much time it takes.

got a house checkpoint pre-viper fight, got a house checkpoint post-viper fight, died, got sent to pre-viper fight checkpoint location; long as hell run back.
