Trial of chaos blood circle sacrifice not able to complete

At wave/stage 6 i was tasked with sacrificing monsters inside circles and tried doing so for about 15 minutzes with no success. Possibly due to the fact that everything i killed was frozen so no corpse? i did stay inside of them for a couple minutes without interruption to make sure i dont misunderstand the trial
