Skeletal Arsonist - Do they shotgun?

Hello,

I could not find anything with the search. I try to avoid spoilers and try out my own ideas for now. So I have not seen any guides. I just want to know the technicalities of the skill.

Does anyone know if Skeletal Arsonist Fire Bomb can shotgun?

The Projectiles tool tip states that if a group of projectile is fired, only one projectile deals damage unless otherwise specified on the skill. I have read everything in the Skeletal Arsonist Skill menu five times and could not find anything about shotgunning.

On the other hand I have seen a couple seconds of GhazzyTV's stream or video, and he was using Scattershot with Arsonists. So I would assume that it works? He knows what he is doing, so it has to work, right?
