This game is a masterpiece; Diff good, loot too little
This game is an absolute masterpiece. I haven't come across a meaningful mechanic or UI element that feels in any way mailed in. It really is like everyone working on this actually gave a crap about doing an excellent job and actually played the game.
Amazing. I've dumped more $ and time into this game than any other game in my 35+ years of PC gaming and I feel like everyone cent was worth it just to see this level of dedication and execution. I like the difficulty of the bosses, though they could be turned down by about 10%. Regular Mobs could be turned down by about 20%. Loot drops are, however, abysmal - like, killing the final boss of an act and getting 1 rare and 4 white items kinda feel bad :P But those are minor quibbles and I'm good with GGG's approach to figuring out balancing - it's safer to make things easier than to start easy and make them harder. Everyone's gonna have something to complain about in the beginning anyways so they can see where things shake out from a safe place. OK, that's all. Also, just to reply to my own thread, i think my complaint about boss and mob difficult really applies to Act 1-3. I'm in cruel now and now that I've got my character kinda sorted, the monsters are much smoother.

I'd like to add that they should also allow us to keep the maps cleared after dying, so that you don't have to waste 30 minutes to run back to your area where you died. Make this for storyline only as well. Not fun dying right before grabbing a key or stone for quest just so that you die and have to redo the whole thing.
