Progression blocker in The Molten Vault
![]() The Treasures of Utzall quest tasks you with killing all enemies within the map, But if you die after getting the checkpoint (shown with a green arrow in image) you are unable to backtrack past the cauldron of lava (shown with a red arrow in image) to get to the mobs (shown as blue area in image) because the caldron can only be operated from a lever on the left side that you now cannot reach. This leaves no other option than to portal home and then waypoint back in to be able to progress. also having a quest that relies on full room clear, but then have the entire room respawn on death but not your map, so you have to tediously manually check every corner of a map that to you looks like you have already checked because the map is revealed is just a really poor design. if you want to do this sort of thing then at least for these specific areas when you die it should force a new instance because if you are not familiar with the old game and don't know how instances work or that you can create new ones then issues like this one just makes the game feel broken. Ignore previous, it turns out that you only need to defeat the boss within and you do not need to "clear out" the map. perhaps more clear wording on the quest because it came across as full clear was required.
