(Path of Exile 2) Life Remnants not activating.

I'm playing Witch and did the ascendancy for the Blood Mage. I have 30 Spirit and I don't have any skill that uses it, so my Spirit is 30/30. The issue comes when adding the support gem "Vitality" to my ascendancy Skill "Life Remnants", it tells me that I don't have enough Spirit even if I have 10/30 (after adding the support gem). I also have enough Int, Str and Dex.
