Respec is extremely expensive, discourages experimenting with builds and skills
|
I haven't come into any problems with gold and respecing yet

What actually discourages experimentation for me is that there are not enough specialized damage nodes TO experiment with.
Even if I had infinite respecs I would likely end up using the same exact tree regardless of what skill or weapon I am using, because very little of it actually pushes you towards using a specific weapon or playstyle. |

" How many hours have you played in the past weekend? I played overall ~15 hours, which is an insane amount of play time for me, and I got problems finding enough gold for my gear, not to mention respecs. |

Agreed.

I was expecting this to be changed ASAP, but nope. Kinda sad.
Locking ascendancies behind sanctum and ultimatum is another big issue for me. |

Boasting about 1500+ passive nodes, encouraging people to come up with builds and testing mechanic interactions but punishes players to respec is quite contradicting. I feel like our time is not being respected. We want to spend time theory crafting, farming items and testing builds not farming gold for a respec that most likely won't work, this is frustrating!.
Farming items to test builds = FUN Farming items to min-max builds = FUN Farming gold for respec = NOT FUN What are we really trying to solve here with the high cost for respecs? Maybe competitiveness in a league.. but standard? |

Every time I hit the respect button, it pains my heart.
Should be way cheaper or free for EA, imo. |
