Vaguely an Arachnophobia issue

So I do not have arachnophobia, I have an issue with specifically daddy long leg spiders being a PTSD trigger of mine from extremely violent childhood trauma, without going into details they are one of the few things that can severely trigger my PTSD still.

While playing one of the leagues in path of exile I triggered a league mechanic in the second area and some daddy long leg spiders spawned in with some of the regular mobs. I had to leave my PC and could not risk touching the game again since that incident.

I was greatly hoping path of exile 2 would not have them as one of the mobs, and I downloaded the early access to take a look at the game, but one of my friends told me last night that daddy long legs are in the game as a regular mob, and thus the game is unplayable for me.

Normally, I'd not bother to post anything, I did not the first time I came across the issue. I don't expect a whole game to change because of me. Having sat on the fact I cannot play the game, I realised how frustrating it was for me and figured I'd just throw this in for if the devs are considering an arachnophobia mode, given it would solve my issue too.

Spiders do not scare me, I'll let hunstman spiders chill on my wall by my PC, I name them. I've considered getting some pet spiders. Daddy long leg spiders make me violently ill, sometimes my PTSD response messes me up for days, and I really wish it didn't. As a concept they don't scare me, it is my stupid brain.

As I stated, I don't mind spiders. I have an issue with one of the specific spider mobs they did not add until a league well after the story was finished. Spiders are a great enemy as a whole.

My issue has almost nothing to do with spiders, really, but an arachnophobia mode would just happen to make the game playable for me incidentally, which is the only reason I bothered to post about spiders.
