Crescendo support bugged repeating the final strike

If you use a skill with final strike and use crescendo support it will let you use the final strike twice if you use it on air (no enemy). But if you hold the attack button with the crescendo support while attacking an enemy it will keep doing the final strike more than twice.

I counted 5 Heavy attacks on Ice Strike. The bug happens when you are in combat with the same group of enemies, bonus points if they are frozen.
