Soft locked in Trial of Chaos

Killed the final enemy in the trial, while running back to the center of the room a huge rock wall came up under my character's feet.

I can't move or do anything.

Going to have to redo this awful trial again.

Soft locked AGAIN.

I Leap Slammed across a broken ledge to get to the platform that lowers me into the arena. Everything seemed fine, platform dropped me down -- Beat the trial and now the platform that brought me down is apparently the platform I need to take me back up.

The platform is lit up, I'm standing on it, walking on and off it, and it won't bring me back up. Can't activate the switch. The other platform is still up and has no switch available.

This is like the 30th time I've had to redo this trial and it's making me want to rip my hair out.
