Issue with stun and melee.
A bit of an ironic issue, especially with hammer being so stun heavy. Is that whenever you stun a enemy, you knock it out of reach of your attacks.
Now this wouldn't have been much of an issue in itself, but then we are also met with the fact that the majority of enemies only stay stunned for less than a second before they recover. Which means that by the time you get to land your next melee attack after stunning the enemy, the enemy is no longer stunned making the entire mechanic wasted. Last bumped on Dec 12, 2024, 5:49:25 PM

Your not wrong.
It's not so bad to knock enemies away with big AOE stuns, where you would want to push everything away from you. But for single targeted attacks, you'd want to keep them close, so it is counter productive to knock them away in that instance. |

Yes, I came to the forum to make a post about this specifically. The stun knock back from players is anti-intuitive when it puts them out of melee range with the stuns. It limits the bonus of stunning and doing increased damage if you have to move to the enemy after the stun. Please change this GGG!

+1 stun should be an "in place" mechanic so that payoffs can be used in conjunction with "prepared to stun" seamlessly.

Double this, I made also a post about it.
It is an issue even in act1/2; the rage-loss when you run to the boss hurts. Also the time for weapon-swap, if you decide to shiled-charge after him (and having to swap to the 2-hd-mace). I even got the "rage-loss is 25% slower"-node, but that didnt help either. It gets really annoying, if you have anyone who applies pin: Pin stacks pretty fast and after 3-5 hits the boss stands still for up to 4secs. Stun should feel the same, if you are abel to break the bar. Probably the stunner could cling to the boss and land, where he lands?
