[Merc] Reloading/Ammo Solution
1. Reloading any clip should reload all clips. Having to reload multiple clips after every fight is extremely annoying.
2. Changing ammo should auto-reload. Add a delay to compensate. Right now setting up combos on the Merc feels really bad because you have to make sure every clip is full before you execute a combo every single time. 3. Might be a bug, but sometimes if you start holding down the Shoot key during certain animations (roll/reload), it just doesn't work, and won't work until you let go and press again. I wholeheartedly agree with this all being an issue and even have somethings to add after the latest patch.
1. Being forced to reload after every teleporation or death is just plain bad. The amount of times I died almost instantly on respawn because I needed to reload what felt like three-dozen ammo types drew aggro from local enemies. And don't get me started with how many times I died to Silver fist because the respawn point was right next to the boss and, again, reload triggers aggro. 2. USING POTIONS CAUSING AMMO TO DE-SPAWN IS COMPLETE BULLSHIT!!!!!! There is nothing more infuriating than dying because I had to pop a health potion, and it reset ALL OF MY AMMO. BAD BAD BAD!!!! |

ammo swaps and reloading just need to go away. no other class plays like this with no upside. everything should just be instant cast like any other class because it just feels clunky and bad. i get the idea and it was a good try but it just gives the class a huge disadvantage and nothing to make up for it

Reloading eats up way too much mana at high levels also. This is a dex/str class, not a caster. 200+ mana to reload a clip is ridiculous.

" i agree. getting a weapon with plus to skill gems can make it unplayable. the mana scaling is too harsh for a class that has no access to mana nodes in the tree |

3. is driving me insane.
i would love the option to autoreload all if you dodge, could be a passive on the skilltree. normal reload is still much faster but this would give us a choice. |

I also would agree with above suggestions. This is also my taste, having boss that have much more movement than me, the movement penalty while shot projectile can be revisit and removed, IMO

On top of all sometimes reloading doesn't work, and you running like headless chicken in crowd of mobs. This part of merc need serious rework.

Thought I was crazy about holding down fire not auto reloading but your right. It makes playing rapid shot feel clunky. In addition the auto targeting needs to be fixed sometimes when I’m fiering and I get surrounded my character starts spazzing out like it gets confused on who to shoot. In addition having to speck into 6 nodes to make realoading not feel awfull is crazy especially because we don’t get quivers and our crossbows are less damaging then bows .

Agreed it feels clunky to play merc even with all the reduced reload speed on the passives.
I'd also like to be able to reload while rolling. Everyone except the merc can weave attacks in smoothly while rolling atm. I also get the #3 bug you mentioned frequently. |
