Cannot rejoin area after dying ( not a boss fight)

Died in an area without getting a waypoint I guess, then I could not use waypoint to get into the area, I relogged since I didnt have a ''checkpoint'' to respawn at.

It said ''cannot rejoin area after dying'' So I am perma banned from the area or what? XD this was not a boss fight, it was just a waypoint.
