Freeze Not Working If Cast on Freeze + Cold Snap

Freeze build up stops working randomly after cold snapping from cast on freeze.

Same here:

Easy to replicate

-Put Cast on freeze with coldsnap
-Freeze an enemy
-Try to freeze enemy again
>freeze buildup doesn't trigger at all

Normal behaviour:

-Put Coldsnap without cast on freeze
-Freeze an enemy then coldsnap
-Try to freeze enemy again
> freeze buildup appears on enemy et can be freeze again

This bug is in my case build breaking :(

Can confirm. This has been happening in general with freezing enemies, especially bosses.

There are situations when I've frozen a boss once and then it stopped working for the entire encounter, making freeze builds very unusable.

Having this exact issue as well, glad I'm not the only one.

Apparently, Cast on freeze doesn't work at all regardless of the gem socketed and not just with cold snap but I haven't tested myself. Since my build was ruined and respect is too expensive (imo) I created another character x)

That's not true, I've been using cast on freeze + comet for the last 20 levels or so. The cast chance is a calculation based on energy buildup and the spell's cast time.

I haven't tried it with cold snap though, that looks to be bugged I think.

I noticed this issue today only (11th Dec).
I played till late on 10th and it was still properly triggering.
I think I removed CoF at some point and realized it didn't work a bit after slotting it back in and activating it.
60 spirit shows as reserved correctly and it's toggled on from skills.

That's not true on your end because I saw people complaining about this, there is a nuance.

Anyway, since the last hotfix I can use my cast on freeze with comet (I couldnt before idk why)

I haven't tested with cold snap yet.

+1 sometimes freeze never works again on a boss after using Cold Snap.
