Game Pauses at Random Intervals

I am on Xbox Series X. This is the only prominent bug I've experienced thus far. The game pauses randomly and shows "game paused" at the bottom of the screen. This also results in a graphical bug where my character becomes blurry as if he's fading away. I've had it happen every 2-3 seconds during one gaming session, and about every 30 seconds to every couple of minutes in another. I am on Act 1 and it seems to be entirely random.

I forgot to mention that when it pauses, it lasts a few seconds. I've not had it last any longer than 5 seconds.

This just happened to me on steam deck.
