Third Ascendancy (Cruel Act 2) Bugged

It seems like players are unable to do the third ascendancy from running Sanctum in Cruel Act 2. It doesn't even seem like the Trial path shows up in Traitor's Passage.

I seem to be experiencing this as well, my 'Ascent To Power' quest says "Search Traitor's Passage" and I've mapped out the entire area, and I've beaten Balbala twice, my recollection of the normal campaign was that beating her gave the item to do the trial, so I assume it's what gives you the progress here too. I warped back to the trial area in Normal Act 2 and completed a 2-floor trial of Sekhama but got no ascendency points. Hopefully this can be fixed!

Defeated Balbala 3 times on cruel but no effect. Can only enter lvl 22 Sekhemas. Already in act III where I get no ascendancy for chaos trial xD (good thing ranger poison ascendancies are trash)

Did you kill final act III boss after your own death? (I wonder if this corrupts progression - I did kill him like that with posion)

I am also suffering from this bug. My Ascent to Power quest says "Search Traitor's Passage", but no matter how many time I kill Balbala or full clear the passage I do not get the Barya to start my third Ascendancy trial. I tried clearing the Trial of Sehkemas with a level 56 Barya I had drop randomly, but it did not give me any ascendancy points for it.

Any known fixes? Maybe a link to the Reddit threat?

Just ignore this quest in Cruel (it has no meaning, cause you've already access to the Trail of the Sehkemas). It is also on the Known Issues list:

Ascent to Power quest text in Cruel Act 2 is misleading.

For the 3. and 4. ascendancy you need to run trials with high enough area levels (60+ or 75+): Ascendancy class

And the Djinn Barya / Inscribed Ultimatum should show in the description if you get ascendancy points after running all the floors / trials.
