accidently sold quest item in poe 2

yeah i lost the Horn in act 2...
i thought i put on the ground for a second and its gone ...


im stuck now with this character

So, accidentally sold a quest item in the first qct. Sold the runes I was supposed to use at the tree. Now I can't get them back or when I fight the boss it doesn't reappear.

Any body got a fix for this? Idk what to do and I can't go on any further.

If you can, find another player who already has access to the Grim Tangle Waypoint. As long as you've already received the spikes from Renly, when the second player sends back a portal from the Grim Tangle waypoint, you should be able to take it.

My particular problem was slightly different than most, in that I'd already used the spikes, but the portal never appeared, and the quest was just stalled at that point, so the above solution may not work for you, but it did for me after much wailing and gnashing of teeth, and it saved me having to restart a character. This was in Act 4 BTW, at level 47!
