Why Are People Crying?

You see, when PoE2 was announced, they wanted a new game in PoE2.

So when it launched, they were hoping for the same amount of loot drop the same speed/pacing the same ability to one click one button and clear everything in one hit the same way of ascending the same difficulty curve the same money printing currency strategies.

Well, I'm not there to cry about the game being too hard or too grindy or even too slow. Heck, I won't even cry for the poor judgement from GGG to make ultimatum and sanctum the mechanics for ascending.

I just find it difficult to hook on, I genuinely love playing traps and mines on poe 1 and early access gave nothing remotely close, no grenades don't feel good. And... as absurd as it may sound, it feels like putting point into the skill tree does literally nothing. So far, I got 3 characters to act 3 and then delete them out of disappointment. No matter if I go full tank or full damage, it feels like my characters are always at the same spot. There's no power spike either, it just feels like a slow and steady progress where none of my choice matter.

All of this feels odd, on paper, I should love this game but I'm not. I decided to look at other's build and at lvl 70ish, they seems to be blasting the game with their complicated CoC stuff or whatever or how they combo this with that and that but ultimately, the road to that just seems to long and to be quite honest, these kind of builds never appealed to me. Even crafting items, you can't reroll, there's barely no crafting options. You find a good base, put a transmute, 3 mana on kill, oh well, 143 gold.

Yeah sure it's early access but choices are soo limited that it kills what made poe1 good.
