Duo parrty scaling feels off

I feel the party scaling is overtuned or bugged. When I play with my brother in duo we need to overlevel and have multiple (5-10) tries in some bosses. But when I play solo I don't need to overlevel or anything
and I still absolutely demolish the same bosses in first try. Like the difference is so insane that it can't be intented, right?

I hope somebody at GGG can check on this, because it sucks to be punished so much to play with your friends or family.

Thats wild, because i got opposing experience. Solo was challenging, playing with my friend made the game easy to the point it was less fun.
It depends purely on your clases...

I run a witch with a Scepter that gives 70% damage, 300 acc and 10% attack speed to allies(Even in solo because minions), and when I play with my friend he basically oneshots all the mobs in the map. I do most of the boss damage with demon form, but the whole map clear is a joke, I literally can just walk next to him and he kills everything except rares before I can even charge a bonestorm.

Meanwhile, I was playing with another friend, I was using a ranger, and I could clearly notice the damage drop-off from both of us, specially since he streams so I had seem him play solo and I had(Obviously) seen myself play solo, when we came into duo we both felt extremely underpowered in comparison, not just a bit underpowered, extremely underpowered(That's not to say things could not be killed).

I'd say there's some synergies that work better than others as well like a Mercenary with a Ranger proccing the Ranger's Lightning ball+Rods combo every 0.2 seconds with the electric shotgun.
