IGNORE THREAD! It does work :) Invoker 'I am the Thunder' ascendancy node not working?

I have just got my first ascendancy points for my monk invoker and have taken 'I am the Thunder' node.
The node has a 25% chance to create shocked ground when you shock an enemy. The shocked ground is proccing but when enemies are standing on the shocked ground I don't think they are getting shocked. It's hard to tell but it doesn't seem like it's working. Has anyone else encountered this or can clarify for me if it is/isn't working as intended? it works quite well, when i use siphoning strike i get 5 power charges and then use the slam attack to demolish groups :D
