So far, only the real poe fans have paid for this early access. and there are already tons of bad reviews like this one.
Steam reviews say otherwise.

extremely disappointed.
One of the main reasons why people strayed away from poe1 was because it was "too hard"
I always disagree with people who said that, because it wasn't actually as hard as it looked like it was.
But THIS on the other hand, is nearly un-playable.
I have thousands of hours in poe1. and 20+ years on diablo 2.
I have only gotten to level 3, and fighting the first boss type battle. I am completely stuck. This is WAY too hard.
I have rage quit twice. you can say "get gud" or whatever, but at the end of the day, this game is going to absolutely fail as any normal person who tried to play it is going to get frustrated immediately and quit like I did.
The population on poe2 will be less than on poe1. The only people on here are going to be the absolute sweatiest obese no life nerds who think they're cool

If this game is not fixed, as the normies come in..... the reviews might actually become worse than diablo 4's.
600k simultaneous players just on Steam...
And about half of them are raging and pushing through a bad time to get to end game in the hopes it will get better ( it sort of dose and sort of dosent ) .
that leaves 300k people who are enjoying the game...which is more than a good day for poe 1...wtf are you smoking[/quote]
it will hit between 30 and 50k before Christmas.

They won't keep 10% of that once the hype has died down.

Sure, what could be wrong. Look at Last epoch chart. 250k -> 10k in 2mo. Higher number - bigger fail. Popular product does not mean quality product, but children never understand this simple idea.

If you try to read these "positive" reviews you will see half of them is pure sarcasm.

Considering my unparalleled hype for PoE2, I would say that currently Path of Exile 2 is indeed a bigger let down than Diablo 4 was for me.
I knew D4 was going to be garbage.
I thought that I knew PoE2 was going to be immaculate. Boy was I wrong.
The game is simply not fun currently.
