Problems with Attacking on Monk/ Won't Attack
Yes, it is a curse. But it occurs in the start of the map, just a sec after Ive spawned in. And the curse is different, it tell you when youre cursed in the top of the corner
We should make a mega thread about the maps and go trough each one of them, I wish I could capture my experience in the Blooming Field now, its quite obvious that it doesnt fit the gamestyle of this game |

This hasn't been fixed yet, so I am posting my comment from another thread, with the same issue, hope it gets fixed. Happens even if you hover over items, which becomes ridiculous in maps. To be more specific: Character completely stops attacking when using attack on place(holding shift), using a skill, while my cursor is hovering an item, therefore if I am attacking monsters and randomly hover my cursor over an dropped item on the ground(item name), my character completely stops attacking. This happens with other non-enemy objects too as others mentioned. |

Happening to me as well and damn this is SO frustrating. The lategame is already enough punishing with huge amount of xp lost, but with that bug nah man. I just can't do lategame mechanics because when it happens (and it happens everytime) while i'm doing breach or rituals wich is super small areas for lot of monsters / aoe everywhere etc and my character is just there, and can't attack for 3 seconds. 3 seconds where in breach monsters will continue growing in numbers, or ritual with just no space to survive is a certain death in the end.
Also it feel so unbalanced that for exemple on a lightning hit from monsters, when i have 50% lightning resistance, 1.6k life and 1k energy shield it will almost one shot me, and when i'm at 75% lightning resistance it's just doing almost no damage to me. The difference of damage taken is just ridiculous. And i tested it in the same map with one item in my inventory to cap resistance to 75% or being at 50% without it. In the same map it is the difference of damage i take. Basically having 50% lightning resistance or 0 is going to one shot me anyway. So i feel this is unbalanced. |

I've played a bunch of monk and I'm pretty sure there's some kind of issue with left mouse button being used for both interact/pick up as well as whatever the attack bind is. The game appears to override the bound skill/attack in favor of interacting with a thing in the game. In other words, if you happen to be unintentionally targeting a chest where an enemy is in the way, you won't attack the enemy but instead try to open the chest (i.e. do nothing) even if the enemy is body blocking you from reaching the chest.
I wanna say this also happened while playing merc (in that my rounds wouldn't fire for reasons I could never figure out - mana was fine, I had rounds loaded, not stunned etc. - but since switching to monk I think this might be the reason why) but it's much less noticeable while playing a ranged character. A possible workaround might be setting LMB to nothing and having your active skills mapped to other buttons but I haven't tried this myself |

Same here. Happens to me every session I play my monk. It's no curse, not stunned/frozen, full on resources. At first I thought it might be something related to connection/Internet stuff but I can always move around and dodge roll when this bug happens. It's a solid 2-4 seconds of inability to use skills and the panic that occurs is unreal....
