Boss HP too high ( their skills are ok )

I'm not advocating to make bosses harmless, but it either comes down to you beating the snot out of them and stun locking them for way too long, or they just wipe you with some area nuke ability and its impossible.
There needs to be a little bit more back and forth but maybe not have to beat the snot out of them for so long, the game seems to expect me to have a way better weapon than I have at the time, don't think I am under leveled.

Lower boss HP to 70% for all bosses? Thats what I would suggest.
If they are going to kill you they are going to do it half way through, if not than it takes too long to kill them.

it's. Your build or weapon is just bad.
I had the skills and weapons of anyone my level would have. Not everyone is going to have tinked characters. And I played through normally, I wasn't rushed.

Talking act 1 and 2 here? Not some end game character that can craft any power weapon he wants, you kind of take what you get in these earlier parts of the game, so ''get gud scrub' kind of doesn't work.

Pretty much.
Balance is all over the place right now. For warrior or ranger the bosses need like 100% more HP.

I feel your pain.
This is exactly how I felt the first time I went through the game.
Until I realized that my build was the issue.
You need to constantly grind/gamble better gear and give priority to DPS.
That's sad, because a glass-canon dodge-roll master will have a way easier time than a build made to tank things.

But yeah, as soon as you understand that when your hits are doing almost nothing to the boss it means that you need to respec and/or get better gear, everything will feel better.
First 20 levels you want to get like 80% of your skill points as damage nodes and the rest you can get some defense and hp regen stuff..

That's kinda the point though, isn't it? Currently they're forcing you to play some super high damage stuff despite there being so many cool things around to play with. Build variety is zero if you go by that. If I consider the comment above me, it boils down to playing only meta builds (Even in Poe1 they're not that varied AND they're expensive oftentimes among other hoops) which is just bad. People will have a very bad time. They'll think yeah I will play something more tanky, damage is going to be okay-ish - I'll get things done a bit slower, but I'll get them done. In reality tankyness doesn't mean anything as even white mobs can oneshot you and will kill you by ganging up if you can't kill them fast enough - which they won't. Maybe they'll go for damage and be onehit anyway. Fun. Guess they should dodge roll more. I see no logic behind it.

Now I know this about Boss HP, but all of this plays a role. Another thing is sustain as they do a ton of damage, the fight is usually pretty long.

Actually this really boils down to a system like PoE's passive tree being literally impossible to balance. There is a vast damage level variance because we can choose to spec into 100% more damage or 100% more armor right off the bat. If one player does half as much damage as the other one then how can we possibly balance bosses and enemies for both? It's not possible. You have to simply accept that going damage first is the way to go and defenses come later and figure out how much damage you can sacrifice to be a bit tankier.
