Act 2 premise is cringe.

How are people towing this huge caravan around on their back faster than just walking places? XD And howcome they arent using giants and stuff like the ones you fight in the area, or bug things? The premise is just stupid....

Would it be too bad if it was just a floating caravan? Or is that too aladdin?

Yeah, that caravan is super ineffective and if that one can make it trough the desert, then so can anyone. Heck, my first thought when playing a summoner was "just load up a wagon with supplies and then have the skeletons pull it". A wagon pulled by skeletons who don't need any supplies themselves would be as effective as it gets.

Yeah but they are slow? My character could just get where he was going, then wp / tp back.

If you had read the lore you'd actually know why...
They're outcast maraketh who live hidden in caves and form a proper tribe called the faridun, who continuously rebell against their kin (the maraketh). They are not accepted into the "main" tribe of the maraketh because of disabilities, diseases or similar.
The ones pulling the caravan are those who were caught in traiterous actions and not sentenced to death. The hooded one explains this to you in act 2 if you ask him about "Slavery".

Ha! If you go to the front of the Caravan cart and look at all of the people the Witch will comment that undead would be far more effective for what they were trying to accomplish.
