Molten Blast and skill targeting
Molten Blast feels rewarding to land, but it's really unusual in PoE terms to have an ability aim like this. In a poe1 world it would be used like PConc, where you would target the shatter distance. At the moment it's fired like a "volley" skill, where multi proj stacks the skills together, but the skill can't shotgun and goes max distance. Chain also doesn't trigger the hit effects, which would make it feel that much better.
I really needs area targeting to get a really good feel for the skill and to avoid it flying up cliffs and stuff Easily my favorite skill so far, but would feel that much better with the ability to control range. Last bumped on Dec 22, 2024, 12:22:41 PM

I just did the titan grotto's boss with it. More than half of the time the skill did not hit the boss. Name targeting is really bad in poe2 not just whit this kill, but this was the firs time I hade such a bad experience in any ARPG.
This skill is such a mess: - Forces you to move forward, cant stand still or move any other way. - A melee weapon skill that is not a melee skill. - Name targeting is even worse with it |

Ground Targeting and the ability to press shift to not move forward with the skill would make it so much easier to use.
I'm really enjoying playing with it, but the forced movement is very awkward at times. |
