Engraved support gems disappear

I tried to engrave two uncut support gems, but after I engraved them, the support gems didn't appear in the tab. They just seem to have disappeared. This didn't happen yesterday. I don't want to engrave any more because I only have a few left.

I just had the same thing happen. Thanks for pointing out that it auto-equipped to the main weapon. I don't think auto equipping gems after engraving is appropriate for the UX
