Siphoning Strike Feedback

Hey just wanted to ask if you could please remove the step back animation when consuming a shock on an enemy. I have been playing Siphoning Strike + Charged Staff and the step back animation every time i consume a shock (which is all the time) feels terrible.

Or keep it but either
a) increase skill animation speed at higher gem levels and/or
b) provide 2 power charges (either as soon as gem is available or gated behind a gem level requirement)
I was about making similiar thread - I am bothered by that animation as well. Using siphoning strike makes my character feel unresponsive.
I'd rather that second animation go away entirely...
When the skill itself tries to kill you it does not feel great.
Seconded. The recovery animation is ridiculously long. For an attack that hits only one enemy by default, and is one of the main sources of power charges it's crazy.

Both Combat Frenzy+Resonance or Profane Ritual+Unleash/Reaper's Invocation are much more reliable sources of power charges.
Halfing your own attackspeed and stunning yourself when you are using the skill for its proper function is stupid and feels really bad.

It feels completely crap.
Pro Tip: Don’t use siphoning strike. Only used it in campaign for bosses but in endgame you should really never use it
