Tentacle Miscreation specters - Life on Hit or Life Leech?

Which is better for them? Let's assume level 20 of each gem. My specters only have GMP and Minion Damage; this will be the 4th gem in a 4L. Also, they're level 63-64, and I'm doing 67-68 maps, if you want to get technical.

I'm trying both right now.

Personally, I prefer life on hit with GMP.

The Miscreations have a pretty fast attack speed to right? If so LoH would be ideal.

This would not be true if Life Leech was instant though. Doing damage faster, or doing hits faster, it's exactly the same. But the LL regen, that's the key.

didnt try LOH; was using LL with GMP on them and i find they die too often.
I swapped GMP for crit dmg and they survive much better and i dont need to pot so often :)

i use life on hit

its a ton of small dmg hits each benefits from the loh

iam not really good at this but i try it lets assume the titty bitch does 100 dmg and get 6% of it as life for each hit thats 6 life right ?

now what does a lvl 17-18 loh five 38-40 life each hit

now we assume 1000 dmg which results in 60 life leech and still 38-40loh with gmp you will never do 1000 dmg in one hit i doubt that

this means there is a threshold somewhere where LL becomes better than LoH since i use gmp on mine they do considerable less dmg so Loh it is

While testing in a level 63-64 area, with GMP + Minion Damage (and all the minion damage passives), I found out LL wins against LoH.

However, it matters what mobs you're facing, since armor is very important in this game with how it scales against damage, so I'm not sure. But let me also say that I'm using a level 20 LoH gem, but only a 6% LL gem, yet it's still better.

LoH is the same all the time (does it get reduced with GMP?), but it sure does seem pretty shitty. Their life doesn't shoot up like I think it would when facing a large pack, but it can with LL it seems. Makes me wonder if the 100% piece chance works with LoH, or if any secondary enemies hit don't count.

BTW, I also use Elemental Weakness, and they do some fire damage, so that would also help LL.
