Trial of Sekhemas - not granting points

Just completed the trial for the second time at a higher difficulty, but did not receive 2 more ascendancy passive points. Is this an error or am I missing something?

I had the same issue any update on this situation?

I completed the trial of chaos in act 3 first, that granted me another 2 ascendancy passives. I'm assuming now we can do sekhemas again and get another two

this is a bit confusing and i didnt get it the first time too.

if you get a Djinn Barya drop for sanctum or a Inscribed Ultimatum there is a line that says "Number of Trials"



the first ascendency for sanctum is 1 for ultimatum 4

The second ascendency for sanctum is 2 for ultimatum 8

and so on.

The game makes it not clear at all. Hope this helps.

Just like in PoE 1, you cannot repeat the first lab to get more points. You need to beat the higher level second lab.

In PoE 2 I think you need a high level enough trial key drop so that it as two floors and you'll see the ascendency granting fountain at the end of the second floor.

That or you get the two points from the first tier Ultimatum in act 3

I forgot to mention you can do the first sanctum for 2 points and the first ultimatum for 2 points

Im still confused. I have my first 4 points and have done the higher tiers of both trials twice but neither give me any more points.

What am I missing?

For chaos I had to complete 7 rooms and for sekmas I had to complete two trials.

Do I need to wait for an even higher tier to drop in maps and complete that for my last 4 points?
