Nice try with the hilarious ad hominem, but I was responding to the idea that the game was not tested at all, in a similarly unfair fashion.

The game has issues, but it being "completely untested" or "tedious and unrewarding" are not on the table. Lots of improvements to be made, no fanboying here. Nice try though!

starting to feel the same. I just beat act 1 boss. No loot not a single item. Games after initial wow is starting to feel sluggish. Too slow, giant meaningless maps, no loot no currency no crafting mats. Minion are completely useless and i tought of respeccing when i saw the price. Make it free for god sake what is the point of having to pay to respecc is such a stupid feature.
I'm probably gonna quit for now and come back to a later point. My review on steam is not reccomended. Good starting point but the rest just isnt there.

There seem to be two groups in the current player base and active forum users.

The drastic minority of sweaty and toxic elitists that are not capable of understanding how other people might have fun in a different way than them.

Then there's the second group, that can actually see what this game in its current state is: a boring slop, with no balance, no prior playtesting done, badly designed bosses, horrible skill progression system, an ARPG with non-existent loot... I could go on, but sadly there's only so many hours in a day.

Remember guys, if you don't like the game leave your feedback, don't play and don't spend any money. Vote with your wallet.
Hopefully the devs will realize, that catering to a tiny minority of their players is not a good business model.

After I got thru act 1 I asked myself do i want to do this again on cruel ? Not a chance now I am hearing how hard it is to ascend what is the point of even trying to if its going to take me 20 tries. Game was built for the elite players and the rest of us were just used for money.

For me it cost about 1500 gold to respec one point. I managed to respec into something else, which sadly turned out to be worse. So now I just closed my game. There's no way I'm going to farm up 60k gold with a bad build, screw it.

I'll play some other game instead.

I just feel deflated rn and I don't even think I want to go thru the campaign at this point if they're just gonna rebalance stuff a few months from now anyway.

The current tuning is just a complete waste of everyone's time, and GGG should feel really fucking bad about this considering how many people have been hyped and taken time off for this

POE2 is not difficult. It's unfun, boring and tedious. Good visuals means nothing when you don't want play.

At my pace it will take me a 2 weeks to finish the 3 Acts lol. I'm still in Act 1 btw.

In PoE 1, it took me around 9 hours to complete the 10 acts. That's with a fully planned out build. The elite's could do it in just under 3h.
In PoE2 I heard it's about 25 hours for seasoned players. So that means for me it is closer to 80 hours. So this game will take me around a month to finish 6 acts. Can I see myself repeating that every new league? Nope. I don't mind 3 days but nearly a month. I highly doubt it will keep me interested in repeating that every new league.

I do hope they take feedback into consideration. Everything doesn't have to be a nerf either. For instance they could have more challenging leagues running at the same time to sate the appitite of the Dark Souls sadists who all love the harder challenges.

Anyway, fingers crossed. Some good positive feedback in this forum.

bad game is bad

I think the game has great potential, the foundation is there.
However, it is not really fun for me as it is right now.

-The loot is awful; feels like ruthless. Crafting currency drops also way too low.

-I dont feel my character getting more powerful. There is nothing exciting to look forward to, and Im not sure yet why I feel that way.

-The support skills feel lacking for now. There is not enough variety in my opinion. Also, Im at the end of act 3 and I'm still on 3 links and it just feels boring tbh.

-The zones are too big and fighting the thrashmobs can feel tedious after some time.

-Combat too slow; I dont mind the slower pace at all, however I think its a little to much. Buy the end of act 3 I was expecting it to speed up a little but that never happened. I play with a 2h slammer warrior and I find myself using default attack most of the time (especially during boss fights) since other attacks are extremely slow and I find myself taking lot more damage while attacking
