Sadly POE2 is boring, tedious and slow

I find Path of Exile 2 too slow, not difficult but too sluggish.

It feels like I'm playing a snail or turtle instead of an agile character. Everything is too slow for me. The boss fights drag on forever... constantly evading/rolling... it's really just annoying to play like this.

I don't regret the 30€, but I hope the game will eventually become better and faster.

As it is, I find it terribly boring.Loot is terrible.

Minions AI is bad, they miss Boss fights outside. Do not attack or whatever.
Minions die too quick in Boss fights,the Minion Witch simply sucks..

The graphics are nicely done. GPU performance is bad even on good systems.

Well, anyway, POE1 is better than this and runs better too. Those who have 20+ minutes for a boss fight can rejoice... the day goes by quickly... others who have to work won't get much done, and I'm one of them.

I'm right there with you unfortunately. The game itself is not difficult by any means, it's just boring and far too slow. Blizz did the exact same thing with the D4 expansion. That's why I tried POE1 for the first time and absolutely love it.

Was playing POE2 last night and up against another boss fight. Wasn't really paying too close attention (boring, not difficult) and died about halfway through. I sat there for a few seconds wondering if I could stomach the boredom of fighting it again or just logout. Decided to play POE1 again just to have some fun.

Even from the very start of POE1, the game is fun, fast and engaging. I'm a bit surprised POE2 turned out like this. Like you, also a bit sad. I think I'm gonna shelve this one until release and hopefully by that time it will become less tedious. Maybe they'll add a fast, fun and POE1-Like Mode for us players who think "Souls-Like" games are terrible. Game artwork is beautiful though.

Tedium is used as a stand-in for difficulty incredibly often in videogames, and its amazing how often it works to convince people.

The parallels being drawn between souls games and PoE2 are a joke. There are some reasonable difficulty increases in some fights, but the vast brunt of "difficulty" imposed by PoE2 is derived from arbitrary tedium, and that's the wrong sort of difficulty.

thats the new game for u. its better to be hard than pressing 1 button for the 90% of the time in other games.. go play diablo4 or poe1..

Go play poe 1 then?

Not everybody has the attention span of a tick and wants to zoom by content at 500% movement speed with headhunter blowing up shit 5 screens away.

you can always play Supervive, i think that one spretty zoomertuned.
