POE 2 - Ruby lost in Ancient Vows quest

+1. I went back to the caravan and the ruby dissappeared.

+1, ruby is gone, cant get the horn.....


Edit: Ok so I found out (with help) that I needed to also complete the other side quests (in my case the mastodon badlands/bone pits) to proceed.

The game doesn't tell you this very clearly but there are a few side quests that you need to do to get the horn

So if you are stuck on this, make sure you have done all your side quests

Correct me if you did and still can't get the horn, but it worked for me

+1 The ruby dissapeared, and the quest still asks me to find something to place on the alter

Y'all the ruby is supposed to disappear. The Ruby is just one part of the 3 part quest to make the horn to get rid of the dust storm. After each quest is turned in the quest item disappears so you don't have it taking up inventory. Do the other two quests (Mastodon Tusks and the water in Keth) and they will create the horn for you and allow you to proceed.

04/26/25 I just had this happen to me too. When will this be fixed!????
