POE2 General Experience Feedback
I'm loving the game at about 15 hours in, was a little late to the party. There are a few things that I hope will be considered that are really taking away the fun of the gameplay.
Multiplayer interactions A. While playing with a friend we've noticed that the collision models are very unforgiving. When you pair this with the small corridors, it makes for a bad experience when trying to avoid damage or basic travel. B. Joining instanced areas like boss arenas is very difficult, if you both don't walk in at the same time someone is going to get locked out for the entire fight. C. Dying while in a group and the amount of time it takes to revive someone needs some serious love. We haven't experienced a single boss fight that would allow you the time to revive someone. Any damage taken makes it impossible. D. Specifically for now, Ritual. It's pointless for a friend to run as only the host can loot. I appreciate having familiar seasonal activities but it's only worth running solo. Crashes I realize the game crashes and laggy town lobbies are something that will improve with time. My main issue is that I seem to crash every single boss fight. In some cases it's a quick crash with no error message, other times it's a long freeze which is accommodated by the error "Exception D3D12 Failed to create resource for texture []" I personally have no issues with the difficulty or general gameplay at this point, it's been a so much fun when things function. Hope some of this feedback is seen and helpful. Last bumped on Dec 8, 2024, 5:45:31 PM

For Point A. - My brother and I, agreed that the collision is extremely annoying. Small corridor are the worst, if one get stuck behind and is a melee character, they can't attack and then the other is stuck in front. If only the dodge roll had a phasing.
Point B. - We had similar issues. Point C. - Absolutely, trying to revive one another and we just get push back and get cancel from anything. Point D. Yeah, we made fun about they don't want us to play in group. If my brother doesn't play with me, I'm probably just gonna stop playing, I'm having more fun playing with somebody. Of course I can play solo, but from time to time, it's fun showing off to someone I care. :) Also, Melee in general is not on point imo. Really disappointed in melee, but I'm probably just not familiar yet with. |
