Failed to use/apply item: The operation could not be completed.

I'm also having this problem. Can't use any orbs in town.

Same. Can't craft at all on anything today. I'm in Act 2 ans used to be able to craft

I am also experiencing the same bug. Yesterday I was able to craft in town using my inventory and the stash. I am currently in act II and tried going to town in act I but experienced the same problem.

It seems that the current work around is to craft while out of town, carrying the crafting materials with you.

Edit: This problem has fixed itself...I only left town and came back as I had previously done and I can now craft in town.
