Getting this when trying to consume a quest 2 weapon set passive skill points item and also when trying to identify any item.

same, first town cant use id scrolls and cant use currency items. Tried with multiple chars.

Same, one-time-use quest items wont work, scrolls of wisdom wont work; I just get the error message "the operation could not be completed".

Me as well, since about 15 minutes ago.
However, it DOESN'T bug if you're NOT in town. I believe that as long as you have the book with the Two Weapon Set Passive Skill Points in your inventory (The Lost Lute Quest), the bug persists, but if you leave camp and THEN activate the book, you will be able to use orbs back in town afterwards...
