Not able to turn in "Elegant Idol" to Oswald

Update: Is this thing just for selling at Oswald for 1000g?


Hi,
Just finished act 3 and I ran through the portal to go to cruel. Afterwards I noticed that I still had this in my inventory:


But now I'm not able to turn it in with Oswald in Ziggurat Encampment in act 3.

Is there any reward for this or can I just discard it?

Hey, I just vendored the item for 1k gold

I had the same issue. I ended up selling it to him for 1k gold just to get it out of my inventory. I hope It wasn't for passive points or something good. Oh well.
