Unable to use crafting currency

As I was going through act 2 and the level 30 zone, there was a server hiccup that kicked people back into the login screen and a queue. Once I got back in, I no longer seem to be able to use any currency for crafting. Orbs of Transmutation don't work, armorer's scraps don't work, nothing appears to work. The result I get seems to know that it should be valid however, as I get "Failed to apply item" when I try to use a transmute on a base item, but "Item is not magic" when I try to use an augmentation instead. I'm not sure what's going on but not being able to craft items at all is... a bit of a problem.

Yep, same thing here and I'm seeing other people comment on it.

PSA: for a fix until GGG solves the issue, creating a new character and using a currency item on that character seems to fix the issue. I just picked up a magic item and IDed it, and when I logged back onto my main character they were able to use items again. Not sure why that fixed it, but hey it's a solution.
