died post hunin and mugin fight, ascendancy coin despawned

yeah so as the title says, can i just never get my ascendancy point now?
sidenote as a bug report? it doesnt feel like boss loot should despawn when you die AFTER the fight, it feels so cheap to lose loot to a dot or some bs mobswarm when you did in fact beat the boss
