They announced in 2023 that it would be a seperate game
If anything, you should at least aknowledge that the way it was communicated was absolutely horrible

5 Years ago, poe2 was going to be another league. That's nice... I'll take the actual poe2, even if it's not perfect, they will tweak it.

Would it be possible to do a new mode that is tweaked to be more like PoE 1?

What is the point of these threads? You have POE if you wish to play POE and POE2 in early access if you wish to test a different game.
No idea what you're talking about ruthless/souls like mode, there is no such thing except the ruthless mode in POE specifically.
If you're talking about changes to POE2, then you are way over your head and simply acting entitled. The closed beta, testing phase of POE2, has barely started. You want more mods, you need to wait for GGG to fully develop the game first, then you can expect for resources to be allocated to development additional modes.

I do really wonder how such a falsehood starts and then just clones itself everywhere, without getting disputed somewhere along the way lol
In this case I was misinformed. That it was communicated for 5 years, but instead was also done so for 2. Fair enough. To me personally that is still more than enough time to wrap my head around the fact that it will be a different game.
I also understand real feedback. There is quite a bit of it and it is important.
What I do not understand is people crying that PoE 2 is not like PoE 1. Because to me that was very clear communicated in pretty much every interview/preview I saw within the last year. That is the reason why I deem this crying as illogical and the correct response is to discard it (and hopefully shut it down for good). It just waters down the feedback and GGG has to filter out the real feedback from the useless crying.

You do seem to operate from very recent perspective though
Because yeah, it's more like, for the last 1-2 or so
I see crying from all sides btw
There's good and bad feedback coming from both perspectives

you know, a separate mode is not necessarely poe 1, could be shorter maps, easier white mobs faster move speed.
