Just happened to me 10 minutes ago hope to hear about a fix soon, since it's locking me out of the trial in cruelty mode completely.

No way they focus on nerfing builds instead of fixing a game breaking bug in early access. |

Same bug - Act 2 Cruel. I'd say it's time to focus on game breaking bugs as opposed to nerfing people having fun with broken builds. Ya know, priorities.
