Have same issue where quest is not updating after clearing area multiple times and killing boss. Ascent to Power quest still says "Search Traitors Passage"

Okay when I teleport to Trial of the Sekhemas in Cruel Act 2 it still has lvl 22 and when I check I see I am in Normal Act 2 map all of a sudden. Also Im scared to do the trial of chaos in cruel act 3 now I dont know if I would brick my map if I havent finished Trial of the Sekhemas first.
