POE 2 -- critical lack of gems, skill and support. No health on tree..
" "arpg is when insta kill endgame boss" *feeling of accomplishment none* "I want no complex bosses, no dialogue and frankly i dont even want to play the game, every single form of content better be a comically easily digestible piece of fecal matter that a single celled organism could hold a single button down for 10 seconds and complete" theres not even a "git gud" meme to toss in here your brains just completely eroded |

The gems you are shown are recommendations...you can go to the strength, dex, intelligence tab and there are loads of supports.

" The game you describe is POE1. POE2 seems to be ment to be the exact opposite. |

" Stop using internet buzzwords to sound trendy. He's completely right. There is quite literally one viable build for Witch right now and it's SRS infernalist, and it's obvious the game pushes you towards using it with all it's synergies. I'll probably just quit my current character and roll something else, but it seems every merc is using grenades, every monk invoker, etc etc. I'm getting some serious Diablo vibes with the way the game makes build synergy very obvious to the player. Not a lot of choices, especiaslly with half the classes not available. I legitimately can't find a class I enjoy atm. Think I'll go back to playing WoW until Duelist comes out. |

I agree in part, but my main problem is that PoE2 has MUCH more limitations than PoE1 and it is already affecting builds.
As a Summoner, for example, I am almost forced to use a Scepter because of Spirit. There are alternatives, but in the end, Scepter is the main source of Spirit in the game, which discourages you from making a Necro archer, for example. This will certainly affect the quality and diversity of builds in the future of the game if it is not changed. The current state of PoE 2 is giving me the feeling that GGG doesn't want us to make crazy builds. |

I forgot, but the reason the game seems to have few skills is for 2 reasons
Reason>1: We really have few Skills, some of them will only be released with the arrival of the """new weapons""", and others are in development/modification Reason>2: The HUD of the gems misleads you, in PoE1 we have fewer tabs for many skills, in PoE2 it is the opposite, it is like putting food on a small plate and another large plate, 2 ladles of rice on a small plate seems a lot, 2 ladles of rice on a large plate seems little, and the HUD of the Support gems is even worse because it only shows a small part of the gems We can say that the amount of skills can double when """New weapons""" arrive (doubling is an exaggeration, about 60% to 40% more skills) |
