Incredibly pleased with poe2 - please do not lower difficulty

Honestly amazing job GGG team! This game is superior to every other arpg on the market. You have beautiful sound tracks, incredible designed boss fights and the new skill system is immaculate.

One thing though, please do not lower the diffivulty. I dont want weaker boss mechanics, weaker mobs, 2 health flasks etc.. The challenge separates this from the generics out there. Let the low skilled people learn to play. They copy pasta their builds and then complain? Poe1 is an option for them to go back to.

Go play souls games then, you'll like them. Not everyone does. Ruthless mode on PoE 1 was absolutely dead on arrival for a good reason, and the only reason this game will be successful in its current form is that it's new. That's it.

This game isn't even hard, it's just so absolutely mindnumbingly slow-paced that it's a slog from minute 1.
I must disagree. I don't want massive nerfs or anything...I really love the challenge of some bosses and defeating them is a great feeling (even though getting a flask and some coins ofd a hard boss kinda hurts). Ggg have done A LOTA if great stuff with poe2 but at times (last boss of act 1) it's just unfair.

I have done everything else in act 1...all bosses and exploring...some bosses took 5 attempts but eventually i did them... but this last boss I just can't do. Getting no good drops anywhere and my dps is really lacking because I've had to focus more on health and energy shield so ai don't get 1 shot.

Listen to yourself, man. You're in the easiest part of the tutorial and struggling a lot. It's like having a job where you get your hand slammed in a door repeatedly and go "well this job is pretty great, see? my hand isn't broken so far." It just makes no sense.
I don't mind that it's hard. I do enjoy ruthless when I feel like playing that mode. This should not be ruthless mode while trying to attract new players. The boss fights are good. I am into act 3 the problem is some of these boss battles are way to long and have way to many phase and 1 shot skills. We don't have good movement or movement skill that really helps. Dodge works in some cases.

Hmmhmmm. And what would you say when it's not one guy but dozens of guys who get their hands slammed in the door? Maybe a training issue? Maybe there is something wrong with the door? Just wondering what tutorial are you talking about? I didn't see any besides getting told how to dodge before suddenly running into poison damage and mashing 1 on my keyboard.

You should take a step back and consider what you are saying...

someone is not having fun in a game, you are telling them it's their fault.

is that the community you want to be in?

this all "PoE 2 is like dark souls now" meme is spreading like wildfire and will end up killing the vibe of the game.

remember that even in diffcult games there are diffculty sliders. and the campagin is very much an introduction to the mechanics of poe 1/2.

You are not completely wrong with this. The issue for me is, we're talking about the campaign. The campaign you would play over and over again in ever league and probably at least more than once too. This is just tideaus. It's no problem for me to have that difficulty in the endgame or even higher. But the campaign is only the way to endgame, where all returning players will really start their journey. And this way should be a blast, and not slowing me down by over-complicated story-bosses.
