My opinion, poe 2 frustrating and not fun

boss too much hp while move set too very very simple ending up boring, repetitive and not fun. casually sending out aoe all over the screen also very not fun.

passive need to be more significant. leveling up means nearly nothing because hours after hours just end up become a travel node that adds basically nothing.

map too large, too many unmeaningful twist.

crafting is like non-existant because you don't really know what the product will be like. yes there are wiki and stuff to guess the outcome but they are not in game and also very indirect.

whole game is a waste of time. not rewarding and not fun to play.

I just cant imagine doing the campaign more then once!

I only agree with this.

Other than that game is fun for a BETA version and I really hope they keep slow pacing +long boss fights.

About Path of Exile 1 and Path of Exile 2 - Thoughts and Suggestions for GGG:

I partially agree with the OP, but not entirely. Path of Exile 1 was fun when I started playing almost 3 years ago. I like both versions of the game, but the senseless, slow and unrewarding grind as it is now is way too much and NOT fun at all.

I was catching up on Path of Exile 2 and started the new season and it feels way too slow and progress feels awful. It doesn't feel fun or rewarding like when I first started playing PoE1.

I understand Game Devs want to keep their players playing the game and all, but this is a major turn off and not necessary. Making the game fun, challenging and giving players meaningful, rewarding goals while leveling is the best way to make players happy. I have given my support to GGG and continue doing so, but if this unnecessary, unrewarding grind fest is here to stay I won't be playing or supporting this game anymore. I don't like playing games that waste my time, especially when the progress and experience are not fun and rewarding.

I prefer to play games that are fun, challenging, rewarding and worth while playing. Not be forced to grind like hell for little progress, especially when season game play only lasts a few months. It's ridiculous. The mindset of Game Devs for 2026 and beyond should be to make gaming fun, challenging and rewarding for players - not some unrewarding, punishing grind fest, which gets boring and dull fast.

Making a game fun, immersive and entertaining is what drives player interest, and so far this awful and unnecessary slow grind and progress is a big turn off and is not helping the game at all.

Since the full version of Path of Exile 2 won't be officially released until later this year, I hope the Devs at Grinding Gear Games seriously give consideration to the fact that taking away the fun and rewarding part of any game is not wise or good, and this needs to be improved and corrected big time for both Path of Exile 1 and Path of Exile 2.

I have been a game player for over 22 years, from playing Blizzard games like WoW and Diablo. The funny thing is I discovered Path of Exile soon after Diablo 4 came out, and although D4 still needs a lot of fixes and improvements, at least the grind fest is not as bad and game play is definitely better overall. Not to mention, the latest Paladin class added to Diablo 4 is refreshing and has been fun to play. So, I am done with grinding for super slow progress that feels bad and unrewarding in PoE2 and will enjoy some WoW, D3 and D4 instead.

With that said, I don't mind challenges and some grinding to progress as long as it's actually fun and rewarding, but the current state of the game for both PoE1 and PoE2 is definitely NOT good. I hope GGG changes this because Path of Exile 1 and 2 have great potential to be so much better. That is where I stand on this subject.

PS - Also, the random game crashes don't help either. You can do better, GGG!

Cheers and Happy New Year all!
