email needs to be verified to link steam in order to play ea poe2.

when I try to link steam acc it says the email connected to poe acc needs to be verified so when i click the link to verify it in that email says its being used by another poe acc. Which is weird since I'm using that log in right now to write this. So then i try to change my email in the acc management and i click the link in the email and it gives me an error. Its just error after error and all I want to do is link my steam. I should have just purchased the ea through steam.
