Gold cost to Respec points is HEINOUSLY overpriced

You should never be reliant upon gold for equipment.

That is what monsters are for - to drop loot.
I will never go to the vendor in search of gear.
Never.

I just completely ruined my lvl47 monk because I wanted to change its skills etc and now my character is pretty much f*cked not only did i pay for early access i also spent points on an armour set and weapon skin THAT ISNT EVEN IN THE GAME is this how we welcome new players that basically haven't got a clue how these games works and just wants to have fun? We allow them to brick there character and take there money because they are too stupid to understand that a skin isn't even in the game when there is nothing saying it isn't in poe 2? I legit can't play the game anymore as my character is way too weak and the amount of gold it's going to cost for the re spec is in the hundreds of thousands... who ever though this was a good idea needs to lose there job
Even just in EA, make it free every few levels or what not, or just reduce the cost a lot.

I respecced for Geonar fight because there's no corpses and my build wasn't great, and it cost most of my gold to do it. Around 6000 or so if memory serves, ouch. The bad thing is, i don't really like the new build, so if I want to move her stuff again, ill need to farm on her or another char.

With it being EA and such, you'd think theyd want us moving around a lot to find things broken, or bugged, it's just odd.
No, not just for early access.

It needs to be cheaper, flat out. Entirely, for everyone, always.

There is no fucking reason it should cost me 2800 gold to respec ONE node.

It needs to be like 10% of the current cost, it's beyond prohibitive and is across the line of punitive. It is absolutely ludicrous.

At level 48 I am paying over 1.5k gold per point and 7.5k per ascendancy point. Respeccing a few points here and there in PoE1 was ludicrously cheap by comparison. This cost has to go down. I do see that I am getting a touch more gold in Cruel but not so much that I wouldn't feel the sting of such a huge loss in the current state of the game where Regals are so extremely rare that I can gamble (craft) on my gear maybe once every few hours.
Im lvl 50 and i have around 200k gold, maybe start selling your blue trash as these items are 300-700g each.
Shopping is a fine strategy and i also pick certain pieces from vendors if they have a stat i desire and craft it into usable gear but overdoing it and then complaining that you have no gold is a really bad argument.
I agree respecs should be cheaper. Experimenting with builds its fun. It's also fun to find a unique piece of loot and change your build around it.
Yeah, it's a bit silly. I can go grind for gold but it'll level me up and then the costs go up even more. Might as well make a new character.

I don't like it either
Going to a vendor to buy items is not fun
Also annoying to port into town every level just to look at the updated vendor items
Yep. I don't care if the vendor has a mirror of kalandra.

I am not checking vendors for loot.
